I am a 24 year old Indigenous woman from the James Smith Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. I am the Family Court Support Worker with Hoshizaki House Dryden District Crisis Shelter. I advocate for women who experience domestic violence in their family court process. This includes assisting in documenting history of abuse, safety planning, emotional support, assisting through the legal aid process, and so on. I have a Bachelor of Arts four year degree in Sociology with a concentration in Indigenous Justice and Criminology from the University of Saskatchewan.
